A familiar yet contemporary fragrance, Neandertal us contains spices, greens, and fruits foraged from natural environments used throughout history for ceremonies, remedies, culinary purposes and perfumery. Deeper, smokier tones such as vetiver, sandalwood, oud, and musk create a well-rooted familiarity and sense of security, while a citric and green woody profile creates energy within them.
Neandertal us and them form a visual and conceptual pair that elicit a thought-provoking, olfactory experience, which speaks to our ancestral sense of belonging while addressing the tension created by one of mankind’s oldest and simplest understandings of identity. Neandertal 是來自英國倫敦的香水品牌，以史前人類「尼安德塔人（Neanderthal）」為靈感命名。
品牌試圖透過香氛藝術探索本體論（ontological）與人類歷史的深層意涵，挑戰以人類為中心的宇宙觀，反思我們經驗的局限，並理解其他存在的可能性。
Neandertal 的香水結構原始且實驗性強，拒絕傳統香水標準，以嗅覺連結人類與過去，喚起潛藏於基因中的記憶。
瓶身設計靈感來自舊石器時代打火石手斧，由藝術家 Kentaro 與 Neanderthal Museum 合作打造，並以滑模技術手工翻模製作，再以超過 1400°C 高溫燒製粗陶瓶。
2020 年推出的 Neandertal us/them 系列則採用先進的雷射 3D 掃描與列印技術製成玻璃瓶身，展現科技與歷史的融合。
